Retired President of the Fourth Phase of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Jakaya Kikwete has congratulated President Samia Suluhu and said he is running the country well and that challenges are not missing.
Kikwete made the statement on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 after the Deputy Minister of Health, Dr. Godwin Mollel visited the site of the emergency medical building project at Chalinze District Hospital in Msoga as a project funded by ABBOTT FUND of the United States at a cost of 1.2 billion.
“Let us continue to support our President, he has a great responsibility, it is not an easy task, it has a lot of waves and maybe in that job you get happy days is less than days of hurt but the important thing is you have a heart of patience and perseverance.
“Until now he is running the country well the challenges are not lacking, I said at one point that my grandfather told me that the country does not rot like porridge, porridge is too late to eat when it is all cold, the country is not always like that.
“The leadership will be more encouraged to see us who are with him continue to support him to show him that we are together, together with your colleagues you get the courage to face the great challenges in the office,” said Kikwete.
