The National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) is a corporate body established by the National Council for Technical Education Act, 1997 (Act No. 9 of 1997).
The Act provides a legal framework for the Council to coordinate provision of technical education and training and establish an efficient national qualifications system that will ensure that products from technical institutions are of high quality and respond to changing needs as well as technological innovations in the world.
NACTE second selection 2023/24
NACTE second selection 2023: NACTE application window for admission to the second phase of Health and Allied Sciences colleges was officially closed on August 30, 2022.
The National Council for Vocational Education and Vocational Training (NACTVET) would like to inform the public that the results of the second round of elections for Colleges of Health and Allied Sciences released on September 12, 2022. So the window for the third round will be open from 12 September, 2022 to 23 September, 2022.
The Third Phase Joint Admission window for Health and Allied Sciences courses will be open from September 12 to 23, 2022. Therefore, applicants who did not get a place in the First and Second Phase windows, are advised to apply again in the Third Window .
In addition, for applicants for non-Health and Allied Sciences courses, colleges will continue to submit student names through the Council’s admissions system for qualification review until September 2, 2022. The responses of verified applicants will be released on September 17, 2022 as indicated on the Council Events Calendar.
