Yanga Vs Al-Merrikh

The head coach of Al Merrikh, Osama Nabieh has dug a deep hole that despite the quality of the Young Africans team, they have planned to overturn the table and enter the group stage of the Champions League in Africa.

The caravan of the AI Merrikh squad landed in Dar es Salaam on Wednesday (September 27), ready for the game to be played tomorrow Saturday (September 30) at the Azam Complex Stadium, Chamazi in the city.

Speaking in the city of Dar es Salaam, Coach Osama said: “It is true that we played with the best team, I think we had a very good game in Rwanda despite several mistakes that led to us conceding two goals.

“It was the first 45 minutes. We have come to Tanzania for the 45 minutes of the second half. We know it will be a tough game against the best team, but we have planned to make sure we win and qualify for the group stage. We will fight whether it’s sunny or rainy.”

Nabieh has a big job to lead Al Merrikh to seek a 3-0 victory to qualify for the group stage, this is after accepting a 2-0 defeat in the first leg game played in Rwanda.
