The National Council for Vocational Education and Vocational Training (NACTVET) informs the public that the results of the verification of the qualifications of those who applied to join various programs for the second phase for the batch of September 2023/2024 have been officially released on October 2, 2023.
Admission for the 2023/2024 academic year began on May 21, 2023 to July 16, 2023 for the first phase and from July 17 to September 25, 2023 for the second phase. Applicants for Diploma and Diploma programs applied for admission to various colleges in Tanzania Mainland and Islands. Colleges received applications and made selections for the programs offered by those colleges.
A total of 39,230 applicants from 287 colleges were selected by the colleges, and submitted to NACTVET for review from September 18 – 25, 2023. 37,755 applicants equal to (96%) of all applicants (women are 18,789 (49.8%) and men 18,966 ( 50.2%) have met the criteria to join the programs they chose.
In addition, a total of 1,475 applicants, equal to (4%) of all applicants (women are 726 (49.8%) and men are 749 (50.8%)) did not meet the criteria to join the program they chose. The names of the verified applicants have already been sent to the colleges.
All applicants submitted to NACTVET for verification have been sent a message with a code through the phone numbers submitted by the colleges. The code will be used to verify their admission and qualifications in the programs they have chosen through the NACTVET website www.nactvet.go.tz by clicking on the “Verification results 2023” button
Selected applicants are encouraged to arrive at their chosen colleges and ensure that they are registered to begin studies as scheduled. Colleges are also instructed to register selected applicants in the Council system within three weeks after arriving at the college in accordance with the rules and procedures for student admission. Any college that violates the admission procedures will be taken appropriate action against the college.
