Acting Head Coach of Simba, Daniel Cadena said he was not happy with the one goal draw they got against Namungo FC even though he liked the way they played.

He has said that he has started working on their shortcomings, including the defensive line allowing a goal every match and attacking to make sure they make good use of the opportunities they create.

Simba has continued to lose two points after forcing a 1-1 draw with Namungo FC at Uhuru Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

Coach Cadena has said that they were able to own the game and make many attacks and create chances even though they did not get what they expected.

He said that the positive thing is that the players have quickly grasped the training he gave them, something that he believes they will do well in the upcoming matches.

“I am not happy with the result of the draw but I like the way we played, in a short time the players have been able to follow the training we gave them, which is a positive thing for me.

It was necessary in the second half to make changes by providing midfielders and adding attackers because Namungo were behind for a long time and they are leaving opportunities to use those opportunities,” said Cadena.

He added that the changes of Mosses Phiri and Shaban Chilunda helped and managed to get the equalizer and he expects to spend two weeks training the team’s squad for the next international match.

He has emphasized that he continues to change small things and make the team stronger and seek good results in the games that are in front of them, including the International Champions League match against Asec Mimosas, November 25, this year, Benjamin Mkapa Dar es Salaam
