AGRICULTURE OFFICER GRADE II- (30 POSITIONS)
JOB DUTIES
i. Controlling crop and plant pests;
ii. Collecting weekly and monthly price and crop statistics;
iii. Collect statistics on the availability of produce in the markets every week/monthly;
iv. Conduct training of agricultural experts;
v. Conduct quality checks and use of inputs and tools;
v. Monitoring the trend of the commercial produce market;
vii. Conduct training on better soil and water conservation;
viii. Providing information on new technology to stakeholders;
ix. Prepare/write implementation information for the small crop sector;
x. Managing/developing the profession of producing vegetables, fruits, flowers and crops other;
xi. Managing/promoting the production of quality seeds;
xii. Prepare, prepare, package and distribute quality seeds
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE APPLICANT
Graduates with a Bachelor of Agriculture or a Bachelor of Science who have established themselves in
Minor in Agriculture from Sokoine Agricultural University or other Universities recognized by the Government.
