ASSISTANT PROCUREMENT OFFICER II – NAFASI 120
JOB DUTIES
- i. Through the purchase log book;
- ii. Receiving claim documents from bidders;
- iii. Prepare purchase requirements as directed;
- iv. Prepare and maintain a list of bidders for various categories of products and services;
- v. Track payment documents against purchase application documents;
- v. Receiving requests for various purchase documents; and
- vii. To perform other tasks of his profession assigned by his supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
- Employed with a Diploma in Supply Chain/Purchasing or established Business Procurement and Supply from a Government recognized college or equivalent recognized by the Procurement and Supply Professionals Board in the country (PSPTB). Be is registered with PSPTB as “Procurement and Supplies Technician” or “Procurement
and Supplies Full Technician” and have computer skills.
SALARY LEVEL: Taking into account the Government salary levels TGS C
GENERAL CONDITION OF THE APPLICANTS
- i. All applicants must be Tanzanian Citizens not exceeding 45 years of ag except for those who are working in the government.

All applications must be accompanied by professional certificates, details, copies of certificates certified by a Lawyer/Attorney which are birth certificates, form Fourth, Sixth form for those who reached that level, graduation certificates various trainings and professional certificates according to relevant qualifications such as

• Postgraduate/Degree/Advanced Diploma/Diploma/Certificates.
• Form IV and VI exam certificate
• Computer Certificate
• Professional certificates (Professional certificates from respective boards)
• Birth certificate - vii. “Testimonials”, “Provisional Results”, “Statement of results”, document the results of form four and six (FORM IV AND FORM VI RESULTS SLIPS) WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
- viii. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania should ensure that their certificates are verified by approved by the relevant Authority (TCU, NECTA and NACTE).
- ix. Retired Civil Service applicants are not allowed to apply unless they have the permission of the Secretary General.
- x. Job applicants who are already employed in entry-level positions located in The Public Service should not beg and should follow the existing instructions in Circular By CAC. 45/257/01/D/140 dated November 30, 2010.
- xi. Submission of information and falsified characteristics of the parties will be taken measures legally.
