Card Operations Manager at I&M Bank (T) Limited
Job Purpose
Manager Card Operations of Banks/’s card products in line with the Bank’s overall strategy.
Key Responsibilities/Tasks
Operations:
- · Process Card related transactions e.g. such as verification in the core banking and related systems.
- · Manage Visa card settlement (locals and internationals) and mobile banking related transactions
- · Manage prepaid Visa (MasterCard)
- · Liaise with relevant vendors in resolving as cards and issues.
- · Manage card ordering process e.g. upload of card data, receiving from vendors and dispatching to branches
Compliance:
- · Ensure effective implementation of Bank’s operations, procedures and policies regarding card products
Customer Service:
- · Attend to customer/branch queries/complaints related to alternate channels
Risk Management:
- · Coordinate the review of risk control self-assessments (RCSA) for cards in liaise with Senior Manager Centralized Operations and Head of Risk and perform monthly and quarterly testing of indicator (KRI), RCSA process.
- · Develop, update and maintain risk procedures and systems with respect to risk identification, risk assessment, risk monitoring, risk mitigation strategies and risk reporting.
- · Ensure effective adoption and utilization of risk management tools
- · Drive remediation of risk management exceptions identified during audit or risk reviews
- · Promote risk management culture
Audit Compliance:
- · Respond to Audit (internal and external) queries related to alternate channels
Regulatory Compliance:
- · Manage regulators’ queries related to alternate channels in coordination with branches
Administration:
- · Provide management reports to senior management for board updates e.g. sales and performance reports in regard to products under card
- · Work in liaison with ICT to ensure system uptime to support business and availability
- · Support the head of operations in preparing ABC related budget for board approval by providing inputs
- · In charge of overall card staff management e.g. day to day supervision, leave management, training, mentoring, coaching, performance appraisal etc. within the unit
- · Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor from time to time

Academic / Professional Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any other related field
Working Experience Required
· A minimum of 5years of working experience at Manager/Senior Officer level
