Position Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Warehouse and Inventory Control Officer to oversee and manage our warehouse operations and inventory systems. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of products, maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the security and integrity of our stock.
Key Responsibilities:
•Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain current inventory levels; process purchasing orders as required; track orders and investigate discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.
•Warehouse Operations: Supervise the daily activities of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing products, and ensuring compliance with safety and organizational standards.
•Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of inventory to ensure quality and compliance with standards, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
•Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and any discrepancies, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
•Team Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, logistics, and other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication regarding inventory needs and issues.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
•Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse management and inventory control.
•Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.
•Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
•Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
