Experienced Head Chef is Urgently Needed

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team at our hotel apartment in Masaki. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, innovative menu development, and efficient kitchen management.

•Design and implement creative menus tailored to our diverse clientele.

• Kitchen Management & Leadership:

•Supervise, mentor, and train kitchen staff to uphold high performance standards.

•Organize staff schedules and delegate tasks effectively.

•Promote a positive and professional work environment.

• Food Safety & Hygiene:

•Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including HACCP and local food safety standards.

•Oversee proper food storage, preparation, and overall kitchen cleanliness.

•Conduct regular inspections and address any issues promptly.

• Budgeting & Cost Control:

•Monitor food costs, manage portion control, and minimize waste.

•Source high-quality ingredients while maintaining budgetary constraints.

•Collaborate with suppliers to secure optimal pricing and quality.

• Guest Satisfaction & Special Requests:

•Accommodate special dietary needs and guest preferences.

•Ensure prompt and efficient service for in-room dining and restaurant patrons.

•Collect and act upon guest feedback to continually enhance the dining experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

•Proven experience as a Head Chef, preferably within a hotel environment.

•Strong leadership and team management skills.

•Proficiency in diverse cuisines and menu planning.

•Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

•Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

•Capacity to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Education & Experience:

•Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

•Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a senior kitchen role.

•Experience in hotel apartments, luxury hotels, or fine dining establishments is advantageous.
