The head coach of the national team, Taifa Stars, Algerian Adel Amrouche has appointed 30 players to enter the camp in Egypt to prepare for the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) Finals which are expected to start from January 13 to February 11 in Ivory Coast.
Taifa Stars, which has been drawn in Group F along with Morocco, Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), left Dar es Salaam today for Cairo, Egypt to set up a one-week camp before going to the Ivory Coast.
For Taifa Stars, these will be the third AFCON Finals to be played after 1980 in Nigeria and 2019 in Egypt, both being eliminated in the group stage.
