MINISTRY OF DEFENSE AND ARMY FOR NATION BUILDING
The Ministry of Defense and the Nation Building Force was officially created in 1995 and before that between 1972 and 1989, the duties of this Ministry were carried out by Ministry of State Office of the Second Vice President. Between 1989 and 1995 the responsibilities of the Ministry were under the Minister of State Office of the President. In addition before The Union of Tanganyika and Zanzibar, the Ministry was known as the Ministry of Defence and Foreign Affairs. The Ministry has a great responsibility to protect the Authority of the Republic Union of Tanzania (State Sovereignty) and National Interest (National Interest) Against of internal and external enemies.

- Professional certificates from foreign Universities and other training institutions should be verified by The Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) and National Council for Technical Education (NACTE);
