Normally TAMISEMI hires teachers every year following the government budget that starts in July. According to TAMISEMI, they announce Teacher jobs April or May every year in order to hold a screening to find teachers who will start work by July.

Professional Qualifications for applicants
PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS
- Grade III A Teacher – With a Primary Education Teaching Certificate, Sports Education, Special Education and Primary Education (certificate in primary education);
- Grade IIIB Teacher – Must have a teaching certificate (diploma) that they have studied Basic education.
- Grade IIIC Teacher – Must have a teaching degree for Early Education.
SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS
- Grade III B Teacher – Must have a Teaching Diploma who studied Special Education with English Language, Literature in English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics;
- Grade III C Teacher – Must have a Teaching Degree who studied Education Special for English Language, Literature in English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics;
- Teacher Grade III B – A w e m w e n y e Teaching Diploma of the subject English Language, Literature in English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Basic Mathematics; Grade III C Teacher – Must have a Teaching Degree in English Language, Literature in English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Basic Mathematics;
- Laboratory Technician – Must have a Diploma in Standard Laboratory Technician or Diploma in Laboratory Science and Technology.
Other Required Criteria for applicants
- All applicants should be ready to work in Councils/Centres what they will be assigned;
- Applicants should be willing to work with organizations or institutions entered Partnership with Government;
- After being assigned a workstation, there will be no room for change of work station;
- All applicants should ensure that they fill in their information and attach it all necessary documents in the system; an
- Employment applications are free.
- All applicants who studied Secondary Education abroad are required to find the Equivalent Number that starts and Letters EQ… from the Tanzanian Examination Council to enable them enter the Employment System; and
- Applicants who studied in Universities Abroad are required to obtain a Certificate of their studies from the Tanzania Universities Commission (TCU) for their certificates be able to be recognized and obtain legitimacy to be used in this country.
