Majina ya walioitwa USAILI TRA: TRA to Announce Names of 1,596 Job Applicants for Written Interview on March 22, 2025

The Director of Human Resources and Administration at the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA), Moshi Jonathan Kabengwe, has announced that the names of applicants for the 1,596 job positions recently advertised by TRA will be officially released, March 22, 2025. The list will be published on the official TRA website (www.tra.go.tz) for the written interview scheduled to take place on March 29 and 30, 2025, across nine different centers in mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar.

Speaking to journalists in Dar es Salaam today, March 21, 2025, Kabengwe stated that out of 135,027 applicants who submitted their applications, a total of 112,952 candidates have met the required criteria and have been shortlisted for the written interview. Each selected applicant will receive an email notification confirming their invitation to the interview. Additionally, special arrangements will be made for candidates with special needs to ensure they can take the test without any difficulties.

Kabengwe emphasized that all applicants will be treated fairly, and the interviews will take place in eight regions across mainland Tanzania and in Zanzibar (Unguja and Pemba), as detailed below:

1. Dar es Salaam Center – Covers applicants from Dar es Salaam and Pwani.

2. Zanzibar Center – Covers applicants from Unguja and Pemba.

3. Arusha Center – Covers applicants from Arusha, Manyara, Kilimanjaro, and Tanga.

4. Dodoma Center – Covers applicants from Morogoro, Dodoma, Singida, Iringa, and Tabora.

5. Mtwara Center – Covers applicants from Mtwara, Lindi, and Ruvuma.

6. Mbeya Center – Covers applicants from Mbeya, Songwe, and Rukwa.

7. Mwanza Center – Covers applicants from Mwanza, Shinyanga, Mara, and Simiyu.

8. Kagera Center – Covers applicants from Kagera and Geita.

9. Kigoma Center – Covers applicants from Kigoma and Katavi.
