NACTE: Wananfunzi waliochaguliwa kujiunga na vyuo vya AFYA 2026
The National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET) wishes to inform the public that the First Round Admission Selection Results for applicants to Health and Allied Sciences programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Year are officially released today, 31 July 2026.
A total of 26,705 applicants successfully completed their admission applications. Of these, 17,979 applicants have been selected for admission into institutions offering Health and Allied Sciences programmes. Among those selected:
- 8,936 (49.7%) are female, and
- 9,043 (50.3%) are male.
Furthermore:
- 5,572 applicants (31.0%) have been selected to join Government institutions, while
- 12,407 applicants (69.0%) have been selected to join Non-Government institutions.
Applicants who meet the admission requirements but were not selected due to competition for the programmes and institutions they applied to are encouraged to submit applications for other programmes available at institutions with remaining vacancies during the Second Round through the Central Admission System (CAS).
All applicants can check their selection results by visiting the NACTVET website (www.nactvet.go.tz) and clicking on “CAS Selection 2026“ for detailed information.
The Council further informs the public that the Second Round Application Window is officially open from 31 July to 21 August 2026. The Second Round Selection Results will be announced on 4 September 2026.
Applicants wishing to change their programme or institution may do so during the Transfer Window, which will be open from 10 to 21 August 2026. Applicants are advised to use this opportunity to submit their transfer requests through the Council’s website using the same account they used to submit their First Round application.
