Job Purpose Bravo Group is seeking an experienced, commercially minded and technology-driven Financial Controller to lead financial control, revenue assurance and performance management for one of its newly established dry port. b. Scope of Role Financial control, revenue capture and collection, budgets, cash flow, cost and profitability analysis, compliance and audit readiness for ICD, CFS and Bulk Terminal operations, supported by integrated digital finance and terminal systems.
Key Responsibilities
- 1. Lead financial control across the ICD, CFS and Bulk Terminal.
- 2. Ensure every container, tons of cargo and chargeable service is accurately captured, invoiced, collected and reconciled.
- 3. Establish strong controls to prevent revenue leakage, unauthorized discounts and unbilled services.
- 4. Prepare management accounts, budgets, forecasts and cash-flow reports.
- 5. Develop separate profitability and P&L reporting for ICD, CFS and Bulk Terminal operations.
- 6. Monitor revenue, operating costs, margins, receivables and working capital.
- 7. Develop cost-per-container and cost-per-tons performance analysis.
- 8. Lead credit control and customer collections.
- 9. Maintain strong internal controls, statutory compliance and audit readiness.
- 10. Support management with commercial analysis, pricing and investment decisions.
- 11. Drive Bravo Group’ digital transformation agenda within Finance, including automated billing, ERP integration, digital approvals, real-time dashboards, data analytics and cashless/paper-light processes.
- 12. Integrate financial controls with physical cargo movements and terminal operating systems.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
- CPA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial control, management accounting or finance management.
- Experience in ports, ICD/CFS, logistics, warehousing, transport, bulk terminals or other high-volume operations is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of ERP/accounting systems, budgeting, cost control, financial reporting and revenue assurance.
- Experience in digital transformation, automation and data analytics will be a strong advantage.
