Nanyamba Town Council was formally established in July, 2015 by the Local Government (Urban Authorities) Act No. 8 of 1982 by Government Proclamation No. 220 dated 05/06/2015. The real purpose of the establishment of Nanyamba Town Council is to bring closer to the people various economic and social services including the sectors of Water, Agriculture, Education, Roads, Health as well as improve the existing infrastructure for the benefit of the people of Nanyamba.
