Azam Football Club is a Tanzanian football club from Dar es Salaam. Azam play in the Tanzanian Premier League. Azam FC gained promotion to the Premier League for the first time in their short history in 2008–09. In the 2011–12 season, the club finished in a historic second place below Young Africans and qualified for the 2013 CAF Confederation Cup.

A former player of Yanga, Feisal Salum Abdallah ‘Fei Toto’ has thanked the fans and leaders of Yanga for the entire period that he has worked in the club. Fei Toto expressed his gratitude immediately after joining the Azam Club from Yanga where he has served since 2018.

 

Fei Toto has signed a three-year contract to serve Wauza Ukwaju of Dar, after ending his contractual saga with the Premier League Champions, Yanga.

The Bosses of Azam FC has continued to unload material after the end of Coastal Union striker Abdul Suleiman ‘Sopu’.

Azam FC Club today introduced Comoros National Team goalkeeper Ali Ahamada (30) as their new goalkeeper, Ali played for Toulouse in the French Premier League (2011-2016).

Ali Ahamada is a Frenchman of Comoros origin and played for the French U-21 National Team (2011-2012) before deciding to return to Comoros in his parents’ homeland.

Azam FC have long had a difficult time in the goalkeeping area since the departure of Aishi Manula and Razack Abarola.

Azam FC have a two-year contract with Ghanaian midfielder James Akaminko from the Great Olympic.

Akaminko, 26, who is one of the creative midfielders in the Ghana Premier League, has signed a contract in front of the team owner, Yusuf Bakhresa and C.E.O, Abdulkarim Amin.
