HESLB Loan allocation Batch 4 . The Higher Education Student Loans Board today (Tuesday, October 29, 2024) announced the Fourth Phase (Batch Four) with 9,068 Bachelor Degrees and Diploma students who were assigned loans worth TZS 27.52 billion for academic year 2024/2025.
4,400 first-year students admitted to various institutions of higher education in the country for undergraduate studies and have been assigned loans worth TZS 13.74 billion. This phase also includes 2,646 undergraduate students continuing their studies who have been assigned loans for the first time (first-time continuing) worth TZS 8.37 billion.
Loan allocation for Diplomas
In the fourth phase announced today, there are also 2,022 new first-year diploma students who have been assigned loans worth TZS 5.41 billion. These students have been admitted to priority programs in various middle schools in the country.
‘Samia Scholarship’ Grant
Until now, a total of TZS 3.14 billion has been given for grants to 625 students; (588 first phase, 11 second phase and 26 third phase) for undergraduate students, first year who benefit from ‘Samia Scholarship’ for the academic year 2024/2025 in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Cure.
Opening of the 2024/2025 Appeal Window
Through this information, students who applied for loans for the academic year 2024/2025 but were not satisfied with the previous levels assigned to them or were not assigned loans, are advised to appeal within seven days from Monday, November 4 to Sunday, November 10, 2024.
