Matokeo ya darasa la saba Ruvuma. Ruvuma Region is situated in the Southern part of Tanzania. It is located between latitude 9⁰ 35 and 11⁰   south of the equator, longitudinal 34⁰ 31 and 38^o 10 East Greenwhich. It shares borders with the Republic of Mozambique in the South, Lake Nyasa in the West and Iringa Region in the North and North East. It is also bordered by Mtwara Region to the East.

The Region lies in the Southern Highlands which rise from 300m to 2000m above Sea level. The Western part of the Region is covered by Lake Nyasa which lies within the Western arm of the Rift Valley. To the East of the Rift Valley there are Matengo Mountains ranges which rise up to 2000m. Similarly towards the North there are Lukumburu Mountains whose elevation lies up to 2000m above sea level. South of the Region runs through the lower plains which are dissected by Ruvuma river

Apart from being a Natural boundary between the Republic of Tanzania and Mozambique, Ruvuma River is also an important river in the Southern drainage system. The Ruvuma River drains into the Indian Ocean and it is constituted by several pinnacle tributaries such as Njuga, Likonde, Ngembambili and Lukimwa. Other rivers includes Luegu, Mbarang’andu, Lutukira, Ruhuhu and other many small streams also form the major drainage system for the Region.

Ruvuma Region covers a total area of 64,393 sq kms of which 2,978 sq kms are covered with water leaving a land area of 61,415 sq kms. Out of the land area 54,457 sq kms (89%) are arable land and 6,958 sq kms (11%) are under forest reserves.

Matokeo ya darasa la saba PWANI. Before Independence the Pwani Region was part of Eastern Province in which its Head quarters was at Morogoro.  After Independence in 1961 the Government introduced Region which marked the end of Provinces System.

After introduction of Region system the current Dar es Salaam region was a part of Coast Region and its head quarter was at Dar es Salaam. In 1972 the government of Tanzania underwent Administrative changes   which resulted into introduction of Dar es Salaam Region.

Coast Region was officially launched in 1972 and remained with four (4) Districts which were Kisarawe, Rufiji, Bagamoyo and Mafia and its Head quarter was at Kibaha. Despite of those changes the Head quarter of Coast region remained at Dar es Salaam until 1979. The region remained with four districts until 1979 when Kibaha District was formed from Northern part of Kisarawe district and Southern part of Bagamoyo district. In July 1995 Mkuranga District was formed from the Eastern Coast of Kisarawe District leads Pwani Region to have six (6) Districts up to date. Since Independence up to date the Pwani Region was headed by 16 Regional Commissioner at different times.

After Tanganyika got her Independence we inherited Local Government as it was started during colonial period. During the early periods after independence there were three (3) groups of Local Government. The first group of Local Government were created under the Act no 72 of 1926 in which there 48 Local Government. In Pwani Region there was Bagamoyo, Rufiji and Kisarawe Councils. The second group was created under the Act no 333 of 1953 among them were Mafia Council which started in 1955. The third one was Dar es Salaam Municipal which was under the Act no 105 of 1946.

Matokeo ya darasa la saba MTWARA. Mtwara Region was officially established in 1971 as a result of the Regional Power Plan which aimed to bring services closer to the people. Prior to that the region was within the Southern Province which included Ruvuma, Lindi and Mtwara Regions

where the State Headquarters was Lindi. When this region was established it already had three (3) Districts namely Masasi established in 1928 under British colonialism, Newala in 1956 under English colonialism and Mtwara was established in 1961. Due to population growth and the growth of Mtwara Region increased Districts The other 2 are Tandahimba District established in 1995 from Newala District and Nanyumbu was established in 2006 from Masasi District.

The word Mtwara is derived from the Kimakonde language “kutwala” meaning to take (grab) anything

Matokeo ya darasa la saba Mara Region – NECTA PSLE Examinational results

Matokeo ya darasa la saba Mara Region. Mara Region covers an area of ​​30,150 square kilometers. Of that area, 10,942 square kilometers is an area of ​​water equivalent to 36 percent and 19,208 square kilometers equivalent to 64 percent is land area. Inland, 9,452.34 square kilometers (49.2 percent) are located in the wildlife reserves, including the Serengeti National Park, Ikorongo and Grumeti Game Reserves and Grumeti and Ikorongo Game Reserves. Excluding the area the Region is retained by 9,755.66 Square Kilometers equivalent to 50.7% of the land area for agriculture, livestock and housing. The region borders Kenya and Uganda to the North, Kagera and Mwanza Regions to the West, Simiyu Region to the South and Arusha Region to the East.

Administrative Region is divided into 6 Districts which are; Musoma, Butiama, Bunda, Serengeti, Tarime and Rorya with 9 Councils which are; Musoma Municipality, Butiama, Bunda, Bunda Town, Serengeti, Tarime, Rorya and Tarime Town. In addition, the Region has a total of 10 constituencies which are; Rorya, Tarime Urban, Tarime, Bunda Urban, Bunda, Serengeti, Mwibara, Musoma Urban, Butiama and Musoma. The Regional Headquarters is Musoma. Currently the Region has a total of 20 Divisions, 179 Wards, 458 Villages, 2,504 Suburbs and 330 Streets.

Matokeo ya darasa la saba 2021 LINDI – NECTA PSLE Examinational results

Matokeo ya darasa la saba 2021 LINDI Lindi Region is bordered by the Indian Ocean on the East, Coast Region on the North, Morogoro and Ruvuma on the West and Mtwara Region on the South.

The region has an area of 67,000 square kilometers which is equivalent to 7.1 percent of the area of mainland Tanzania. However, about 27% of the region’s territory lies in the Selous Game Reserve, located in the western part of Liwale District.

Administration

In 1971 Lindi Region started with 3 Districts – Lindi, Kilwa and Nachingwea. Liwae District was established by dividing Nachingwea District in 1975 and Ruangwa was established in 1995 by dividing Lindi District. There are 6 Councils which are Lindi Municipal Council, Lindi, Kilwa, Nachingwea, Liwale and Ruangwa District Councils.

The Region also has a total of 28 Divisions, 152 Wards, 117 Streets, 526 Registered Villages, 3 Sub-Towns (Kilwa Masoko, Kilwa Kivinje and Nachingwea), 2,429 neighborhoods and 8 Constituencies and 2 Special Seat MPs.
