The trophy has been handed over to veteran Brazilian Juliano Belletti who is leading the team on a tour of the trophy in the country.
Receiving the trophy, President Samia urged Tanzanians to turn out in large numbers tomorrow June 1, 2022 to arrive at the Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium in Dar es Salaam to photograph the trophy.
Tanzania is one of the nine African countries that have been lucky enough to receive the trophy.
Samia clarified that Tanzania has been selected to be one of those countries due to its continued good performance in sports where he said most Tanzanians love football.

Tomorrow the trophy will be screened from 3 a.m. to 11 p.m., after which a Royal tour film will be shown. The President has called on Tanzanians to use the advent of the World Cup in the country to promote Tanzania in the world.
For his part, the Minister of Culture, Arts and Sports, Mohamed Mchengerwa thanked the President for revolutionizing the sport during his brief tenure.
