TAMISEMI is responsible for releasing the list of candidates selected for admission into the secondary schools for the 2024/2025 (Form one selection 2024 Dar es salaam). Pupils who passed The Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) can check their selection status to school board where you completed your studies.
TAMISEMI (PO-RALG) manages district and regional health services, including the regional and district councils.
Kilimanjaro Region
The Kilimanjaro Region was officially established in 1963 by Government Announcement No. 450 of that year with Kilimanjaro and Pare districts.
Before Uhuru Kilimanjaro Region was part of the Northern Province (Northern Province) which was made up of Arusha and Mbulu districts, while Pare district was part of Tanga Province (Tanga Province).
When our country gained Independence on 9/12/1961, the Head of the Northern Province (Provincial Commissioner) was Hon. PC Edward Barongo who led until 1963 and was followed by Hon. Peter Kisumo, the first Regional Head of Kilimanjaro Region.
