After NECTA Released the Standard Seven Results for 2023/2024 were a A total of 1,092,960 candidates equal to 80.58 percent of candidates 1,356,296 with the results of the 2023 Primary Education Completion Examination they have succeeded where they have got grades A, B, and C. Boys those who passed are 507,920 equal to 80.59 percent and Girls who passed are 585,040 equal to 80.58 percent.

TAMISEMI is responsible for releasing the list of candidates selected for admission into the secondary schools for the 2024/2025 (Form one selection 2024 Shinyanga). Pupils who passed The Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) can check their selection status to school board where you completed your studies.
TAMISEMI (PO-RALG) manages district and regional health services, including the regional and district councils.
Shinyanga Region
Shinyanga Region was a part of Lake Province (Lake Province) until 1963 when it was officially established with three (3) Districts namely Maswa, Shinyanga and Kahama separated from Tabora Region. From 1972 to 1982, the Regional Government was in the form of Regional Powers where cooperatives, local governments and local governments were abolished. The region was led by the Regional Head, followed by the Regional Development Director who supervised the heads of various departments. This administrative structure was used until 1997 when it was changed according to the Regional Administration Act (Regional Administration Act No. 19 of 1997). The law abolished the position of Regional Development Director and established the position of Regional Administrative Secretary. The Regional Administrative Secretary is the Chief Executive of Government activities in the Region.
Shinyanga region continued to grow where new administrative areas were established and reached seven districts which are Kahama, Bukombe, Maswa, Kishapu, Bariadi, Meatu and Shinyanga. In addition, since 2012, due to the Region meeting the important national criteria for the establishment of new administrative areas, the Government made a decision to establish new Administrative areas where the new Simiyu and Geita Regions were established after splitting some of the Shinyanga Region Districts. Bariadi, Maswa and Meatu Districts were merged to establish Simiyu Region and Bukombe District was sent to the new Geita Region.
