Uteuzi wa rais leo – Ofisi ya rais Ikulu
The President of Tanzania, Samia Suluhu Hassan, has transferred, appointed and removed various leaders including ministers, deputy ministers, secretaries, heads of regions and districts. Among those appointed is CCM Secretary of Ideology, Propaganda and Training, Paul Makonda to be the Head of the Arusha Region. Makonda has served the position for about five months.
He was appointed by the Central Committee of CCM, October 22, 2023 taking the place of Sophia Mjema. He may have served a shorter time than his predecessors in the position such as Nape Nnauye, Ambassador Humphrey Polepole and Sophia Mjema.
