The Tanzanian Police Force has been receiving applications from young Tanzanians who have the qualifications to join the force in order to receive special training that prepares them to serve the nation.

Every year, the Police Force conducts an interview to select young people with the right criteria, and for the year 2024, this process has been completed, and the names of those selected to join the Police Force have been officially announced.

The Head of the Police Force announces to all young people selected to join the National Police Force that they are required to report to the Moshi Police School from 30/09/2024 to 02/10/2024 to attend training.

Young people who were interviewed by the Dar es Salaam Police Training College (DPA) and the Forces under the Police Headquarters are required to report to the Dar es Salaam Police Area (Barracks), Kilwa Road near the Central Police Hospital on 30/09/ 2024 at 12.00 am for a trip to the Moshi Police School.

The young people who were interviewed in the Regions of Mainland Tanzania are required to report to the Regional Police Commanders who were interviewed on 29/09/2024 at 2.00 am in order to be given a trip to the Moshi Police School.

Likewise, the young people who interviewed in Zanzibar (Unguja and Pemba) are required to report to the Zanzibar Police Headquarters (Ziwani) on 29/09/2024 for travel arrangements.

In addition, all selected young people are required to report to the Moshi Police School with the following equipment:

  • i) Track suit (blue track suit) with a white stripe, white t-shirt without text, rubber, black socks, two (2) blue jackets for sports and training with a metal box (Tranka) of blue color.
  • ii) A white round mosquito net and not a square one, two pairs of light blue sheets (Shuka 4), one gray blanket without flowers and not a duvet and a charcoal iron.
  • iii) Cleaning equipment: rake, hoe with a handle, machete, two small buckets and a broom.
  • iv) Health insurance card (NHIF) or cash Tsh. 50,400/= for those without Health insurance cards.
  • v) Original Academic Certificates, original birth certificate, NIDA card or National Identification Number (NIDA), Copies of NIDA cards or National Identification Number (NIDA) of parents and close people on the side of Father and Mother (such as Grandfather, Younger, Aunt, Grandmother, Younger, Uncle, Grandfather, Grandmother, etc.) passport size 06 (blue background), and 5 copies for each certificate specified above.
  • vi) Livelihood funds.

Cell phones are not allowed on campus, so it is prohibited to report Smoke to the Police School with a cell phone. Anyone who will be found with a phone will be considered a misbehavior and the punishment will be immediate expulsion from the training. The school will direct the procedure for obtaining contact.

Anyone who reports to the Moshi Police School after 02/10/2024 will not be accepted and will be considered to have withdrawn from the training.
