Tangazo la ajira uhamiaji 2024, Commissioner General of Immigration by the authority I have under Regulation No. 11(1) of the Immigration Regulations of 2018, hereby announce the recruitment of New Immigration Officers for Tanzanian Youths with the following qualifications:-
QUALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANT
- Be a citizen of Tanzania;
- Be unemployed or have never been employed by any Government Institution;
- Be in possession of a Birth Certificate;
- Be in possession of a National Identity Card or Identification Number issued by the National Identification Authority (NIDA);
- Be in good physical and mental health.
- Be free from drug abuse;
- Have no record or information of involvement in criminal or criminal matters or incidents;
- Have no marks or drawings (Tattoos) on his body;
- Be single or have no children;
- Applicants with Form Four Education should be between 18 and 22 years of age, Applicants with Form Six Education and Diploma should be between 18 and 25 years of age and Applicants with Bachelor’s/Higher
- Diploma should be between 18 and 30 years of age.
- Be willing to work for the Immigration Department anywhere in Tanzania.
- Be willing to support themselves in all stages of monitoring and conducting the application process.
Applicant that will be given Priority
Priority will be given to applicants with qualifications at the Degree/Higher Diploma, Diploma and Certificate levels from Government-recognized Institutions in the following fields: – International Language Specialist, Administration, Law, Public Relations, IT, Registrar, Private Secretary, Accounting, Procurement and Supply registered with the Board, Statistics, Economics, Electricity, Automotive Engineering, AC Engineering, Cyber Security, Brass Band, and Printer.

All Job Applications will be submitted through the Immigration Department website which is
https://www.immigration.go.tz starting from 29th November, 2024 and the deadline for applications is 13th December, 2024.
When applying, the Applicant is required to upload the following documents in PDF format (each document not exceeding 300Kb);
- A recent passport size photograph in jpg/png format not exceeding 300Kb for upload to the system;
- A handwritten application letter for employment;
- A letter of identification from the Local/Village Government or Shehia; for those in JKT/JKU camps, they should have letters of identification from the Head of the Camp;
- Birth Certificate;
- Have a National Identity Card (NIDA) or NIDA Number for registration on the system;
- Have Index numbers of Form Four and Form Six certificates which he will fill in the employment system;
- Other certificates of qualification in various fields at the Diploma, Diploma, and Bachelor/Higher Diploma level (if he has them and they have been verified by the relevant colleges);
- Certificates of professional registration for fields that require Board registration;
- Applicant’s Curriculum Vitae (CV).
How to Create account in Immigration services Department Recruitment Portal 2024
In order to create an account, applicant is required to answer questions relating to the information provided while applying for his/her NIDA Number (NIN)
Immigration Recruitment System Overview The system is designed to automate the recruitment process by reducing the time and effort required for manual interventions at TISD. System User: An applicant can create an account within the system, attach essential documents such as academic certificates and other attachments as per the guidelines, and apply for the advertised position. The applicant can also receive email through his/her verified email during registration.
