Bei ya Mafuta October 2022 | EWURA Oil prices (Bei ya mafuta petrol 2022/Bei ya mafuta ya Diesel leo). The Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA) hereby publishes Cap Prices for petroleum products, applicable in Tanzania Mainland. These wholesale and
retail prices are applicable effective Wednesday, 5th October 2022 at 12:01am.
The world oil prices (FOB) for August 2022 that have been used for computation of local fuel prices in October 2022 decreased by 7.4%, 3.9% and 1.9% for petrol, diesel and kerosene, respectively, compared with the same prices for July 2022. However, the impact of such decreases has been outweighed by an increase in premiums in the local market by between 50% and 163% depending on the port and product compared to the premiums used in the September 2022 pricing.
Nevertheless, following Government’s commitment to lessen the adverse effects of high fuel prices to the public and the economy at large, the Government has issued a subsidy of TZS 59.58 billion for October 2022 which has reduced the prices as shown in Table 1.
Bei Mpya ya Mafuta October 2022
Due to the distribution of subsidies for petrol and diesel, Table No. 2 shows a comparison between the September 2022 subsidized prices and the subsidized prices of October 2022.
Thus, the limit price of fuel from October 5, 2022 is as shown in Table no. 3. Due to these prices, the prices of cities, districts and regions are like as shown in Table no. 4. Price difference from one place to another the other is due to the difference in the port where the fuel is taken and the cost of transportation.
