Simba vs Mlandege Mapinduzi cup 2024 Live
Mlandege FC, who are the defending champions, will meet Simba today on January 13, 2024 at the New Amaan Complex in Zanzibar, where the final match has been scheduled to kick off at 8.15pm.

Khamis said they had ample time to get prepared for the final clash against Simba, despite facing a tough challenge.
He explained that he is proud of his committed players, who, he believes, will play hard to retain the title for the second time in a row.
In last year’s Mapinduzi Cup final, Mlandege won 2-1 over Singida Fountain Gate FC and the former were given Sh35 million as a cash prize for winning the title.
Apart from winning the cash prize, trophy and gold medals, the team’s owners, Abdulsatar Daudi and Kamal Manji, also rewarded their players and the team officials with motorcycles each.
The record shows that the tournament is mainly dominated by the Mainland Tanzania teams including Azam FC who won the title five times, Simba SC (three times) while Yanga and Mtibwa Sugar FC two times each.

The second match was against Singida Fountain Gate which was played on January 5th and we managed to win 2-0.
Simba goals were scored by Willy Onana and Luis Miqussone.

Our last group stage game was against APR from Rwanda which ended in a goalless draw.
Simba sc finished the group stage by leading the group with seven points.
Simba played in the quarter finals of Jamhuri.
In the quarter-final tournament played on January 8 against Jamhuri, Simba won by one goal which was scored by Jean Baleke.
In the semi-final Simba played with Singida FG
In the semi-final game, we met Singida Fountain Gate, on January 8 and emerged victorious on penalty kicks 3-2 following a one-goal draw.
Singida were the first to score a goal through Elvis Rupia in the 11th minute when we equalized through Fabrice Ngoma.
