Volunteer teaching positions at Kibaha Town Council – Walimu wa kujitolea Kibaha, Kibaha Town Council is among the 9 Coastal Regional Councils which was established on 17 September, 2004 by Act No. 7 and 8 of 1982, subsections 8 and 9 of the Regional Administration and Local Government (Towns/District Authorities) Act, published in the Government Gazette (GN No.352) dated 19/04/2004 and the instrument of its establishment signed by the Secretary of Parliament on 17 October, 2007,
The Kibaha Town Council, like other councils, is under the supervision of the Office of the President, Regional Administration and Local Government, however, the authority to conduct daily activities is vested in 19 councillors, 14 councillors are representatives of the people from the ward and 5 councillors from special seats. All are either elected or appointed in accordance with subsection 19 of the Act. In general, the executive activities and implementation of daily responsibilities are vested in the Town Director.
Volunteer teaching positions at Kibaha Town Council
The Director of Kibaha Town Council is inviting qualified Tanzanians to apply for volunteer teaching positions for Business subjects in Secondary schools located near their areas of residence
APPLICANT QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a Tanzanian
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Must be able to teach Business subjects at the Secondary Education level.
- Must be obedient and hardworking
- Must be between the ages of 21-40
- Must be a resident of the relevant District or Region
- Must be digitally literate in terms of the MEWAKA Module which will require them to use LMS and TET teaching platforms.
- Be willing to attend interviews and teacher training in full
- Have passed Business studies (Commerce, Bookkeeping and Accounts)
