Affordable tuition, 117 institutions, and a vibrant academic culture — applications open until 30 June 2026
The Embassy of Algeria in Dar es Salaam has announced a significant opportunity for Tanzanian students: the second edition of the Study in Algeria digital platform, offering access to world-class higher education at remarkably affordable rates.
What is the Study in Algeria Program?
Launched by the Algerian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research under Presidential Decree No. 25-82 (February 2025), the Study in Algeria platform connects international students with Algeria’s vast network of universities, national schools, and research institutions. The program spans Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral levels across dozens of fields.
Applications are submitted entirely online at studyinalgeria.dz. The deadline is 30 June 2026.
Why Study in Algeria?
Algeria sits at the crossroads of Arab, African, and Mediterranean civilizations — a country of 58 provinces stretching from the Mediterranean coast to the vast Sahara. With 7 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, a youthful population of 46 million, and a proud academic tradition, it offers an enriching environment beyond the classroom.
Instruction is delivered in Arabic, French, and English, depending on your field. Students who need language support can access intensive courses at the Intensive Language Teaching Centers (CEIL) affiliated with their institutions.
