To ensure quality and national recognition of training programmes offered, the college has been registered by the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) with registration number BMG/019.

The primary objective of adopting NACTE curriculum is a guarantee that our learners are being trained on the national standard and the government requirement. College Program

The college using NACTE curriculum as a national standard for NTA qualifications, offers NTA level 4 (Basic technician certificate), NTA level 5(Technician Certificate), and NTA Level 6 (Ordinary Diploma) in Procurement and Supply. The adoption of the NACTE curriculum is to ensure that quality of training program at RICOBED comply with the national standards and meets the quality of the market needs in the country and internationally. Student from RICOBED gets easy access to higher education such as Universities, and reputable institutes and colleges for degree levels. Our graduate secures employment in both public and private and those converting their skills to self employment have found themselves competent.
NTA Level 4 in Procurement and Supply

The NTA level 4 (Basic Technician Certificate in Procurement and Supply)  is an entry level to higher NTA qualification levels in the genre. It allows the learner to work towards a nationally recognized Qualification. Hence, the course prepares learners for a career in Procurement and Supply. It is designed to meet the needs of learners who wish to become involved in the field of Procurement and Supply.
NTA Level 5 in Procurement and Supply
The NTA level 5 is an entry level to higher education qualification in procurement and supply occupation. This qualification provides a learning pathway for Ordinary Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Procurement and Supply.

NTA Level 6 (Ordinary Diploma) in Procurement and Supply
The Ordinary Diploma in Procurement and Supply is designed to meet the needs of learners who wish to exit for job or progress to higher education programmes. Henceforth, the program prepares learners moving into junior and middle management procurement roles or those supervising the procurement function.  It focuses on how organizational procedures and processes perform in procurement and supply.

ACADEMIC PROGRAMS

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

NTA level 4
The minimum requirements for NTA level 4 are as follows;

1. Possession of at least (4) passes in the certificate of secondary education (CSEE) or
2. Possession of NVTA level III (Trade Test Grade) in a relevant field and certificate of secondary education (CSEE).

NTA level 5
The minimum requirements for NTA level 5 are as follows;

1. Possession of at least (1) principal and (2) two subsidiary passes in the advanced  certificate of secondary education (ACSEE) or
2. Possession of  relevant NTA level 4

NTA level 6
The re requirement for NTA level 6 (Ordinary Diploma) is NTA level 5 ONLY.

APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION at Rungwe International College of Business and Entrepreneurship Development (RICO-BED)

The college will invite applications for the courses through advertisements made in the Media and websites. Applications will only be considered if they include full details of the applicant’s personal and educational history. Copies of National Certificates of Education and any other relevant certificates/testimonials supporting the qualifications stated should be enclosed.

Birth Certificates should also be included. Applicants are required to attach photocopies of the relevant certificates or testimonials.

Eligible applicants will be furnished with application forms upon payment of Tshs 20,000/= which is non-refundable

All applicants’ forms can be obtained from the Registrar’s office or can be downloaded from this web page. The dully filled forms must reach the Rector’s office on or before the date indicated on the advertisement calling for applications for the particular academic year. All applicants who do not meet the minimum qualifications their forms will not be considered.

• Applicants who meet minimum qualifications will be selected
• Deadline for registration of the first year students shall be two weeks from the first date of the orientation course.
• Admission shall be granted to students only after they have produced evidence of payment of fees for that semester together with original Secondary School certificates and their Birth Certificates for verification;
• All students are expected to conform entirely to the college regulations;
• Except in special circumstances, no student shall be allowed to change a course.
