Are you passionate about serving communities and making a lasting impact? Food for His Children (FFHC) invites committed individuals to join us as Volunteer Field Officers in Karatu District.

• 📍 Location: Karatu District
• 🕒 Contract Duration: Minimum 6 months (Full Commitment Required)
  Gender: Any

Key Responsibilities

• Discipleship & Spiritual Growth
• Teach D4D principles and Biblical values to families
• Support participants in understanding their purpose and role in their families and communities
• Live as a Christ-like role model

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Case Management & Family Support

• Work closely with families to achieve their goals
• Conduct regular home visits to monitor progress (including the 17 Points of a Healthy Home, farming practices, goat care, and food security)
• Provide coaching, guidance, and practical support
• Document case notes and track progress

📊 Monitoring & Reporting

• Write weekly stories highlighting transformation
• Participate in team
• meetings and contribute to solutions

🤝 Community Engagement

• Facilitate savings groups and community programs
• Support school involvement initiatives
• Ensure families adhere to program agreements

Qualifications & Requirements

• A strong desire to live and lead like Jesus
• Diploma or Degree in Community Development, Social Work, or related field
• No prior work experience required – willingness to learn is key
• Good communication skills in English and Kiswahili
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, database use)
• Willingness to work and live in a rural, multicultural environment

🚨 Important Requirements:

• Must be able to ride a motorcycle in remote villages
• Valid motorcycle driving license required
