🌱 Volunteer Opportunity: Field Officer
Are you passionate about serving communities and making a lasting impact? Food for His Children (FFHC) invites committed individuals to join us as Volunteer Field Officers in Karatu District.
- 📍 Location: Karatu District
- 🕒 Contract Duration: Minimum 6 months (Full Commitment Required)

Key Responsibilities
- Discipleship & Spiritual Growth
- Teach D4D principles and Biblical values to families
- Support participants in understanding their purpose and role in their families and communities
- Live as a Christ-like role model
👨👩👧👦 Case Management & Family Support
- Work closely with families to achieve their goals
- Conduct regular home visits to monitor progress (including the 17 Points of a Healthy Home, farming practices, goat care, and food security)
- Provide coaching, guidance, and practical support
- Document case notes and track progress
📊 Monitoring & Reporting
- Write weekly stories highlighting transformation
- Participate in team
- meetings and contribute to solutions
🤝 Community Engagement
- Facilitate savings groups and community programs
- Support school involvement initiatives
- Ensure families adhere to program agreements
Qualifications & Requirements
- A strong desire to live and lead like Jesus
- Diploma or Degree in Community Development, Social Work, or related field
- No prior work experience required – willingness to learn is key
- Good communication skills in English and Kiswahili
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, database use)
- Willingness to work and live in a rural, multicultural environment
🚨 Important Requirements:
- Must be able to ride a motorcycle in remote villages
- Valid motorcycle driving license required
