About the Role:
The primary role of the Quality Control Analyst is to carry out laboratory and product-quality testing for incoming raw materials, in-process samples and finished feed, ensuring compliance with established specifications and ISO 9001:2015, HACCP, GMP and PRP requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, prepare and analyse raw-material, in-process and finished-feed samples.
- Perform routine testing including urease activity, particle-size distribution, mycotoxin screening and moisture analysis.
- Conduct Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (NIR) analysis and maintain required quality registers.
- Verify incoming raw materials against approved specifications before acceptance.
- Monitor production samples, identify defects and report non-conforming products to the Quality Supervisor/Manager.
- Maintain laboratory supplies and equipment, report malfunctions, monitor calibration requirements and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Diploma or Certificate in Bioscience Laboratory Technology or a quality-control certification.
- Degree in Agricultural Sciences or a related field and a professional qualification are preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role; 3 years in a milling environment is preferred.
- Basic understanding of feed manufacturing and specialised training/experience in quality and feed safety systems.
- Technical and analytical ability, strong attention to detail, problem-solving, communication and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team, with an adaptable and continuous-learning mindset.
