Role Overview & Key Responsibilities
- The Jr. Security Agent (Seasonal) ensures strict execution of aviation security protocols, facility inspections, and passenger/cargo safety procedures at dnata Zanzibar. The role focuses on mitigating risks, maintaining security equipment, conducting terminal and airside patrols, and delivering professional service in compliance with international aviation safety regulations.
- Security Operations & Patrols: Conduct routine terminal, facility, and airside searches and patrols according to dnata operating procedures and international aviation standards.
- Equipment Testing & Maintenance: Operate, test, and inspect security detection and monitoring equipment; report equipment malfunctions or performance degradation immediately.
- Risk Identification & Incident Reporting: Advise the Security Team Leader of any security breaches, system failures, or potential risk exposures across airport facilities. Security Agent (Seasonal) at dnata Tanzania
- Safety & Compliance Culture: Adhere strictly to safety, quality, and environmental management policies; participate in regular safety briefings and practice proactive risk intervention.
- Record Keeping & Customer Care: Maintain accurate operational security logs, process documentation, and provide professional customer service to passengers, airlines, and airport stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Diploma holder from a recognized institution with relevant operational skills.
- Legal & Background Check: Clean background check with no criminal record (Mandatory).
- Certifications: Possession of a valid Aviation Security (AVSEC) License or relevant airport security training certification is highly preferred.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of security or aviation ground handling experience preferred.
- Soft Skills: Good interpersonal, communication, and team-collaboration skills; ability to remain vigilant and act professionally in a fast-paced environment.
