Awalé Resources, in partnership with Young Mining Professionals (YMP), is offering a valuable scholarship opportunity for African students pursuing mining-related studies in Canada.
Scholarship Overview
With funding from Awalé Resources, YMP is pleased to provide one (1) scholarship of $2,000 to an exceptional student from Africa who is enrolled in a mining-related program at a post-secondary institution in Canada for the 2026-2027 academic year.
This scholarship aims to support talented African students as they advance their education and careers in the mining sector while studying in Canada.
Who Can Apply?
This opportunity is open to students who:
- Are from Africa
- Are currently enrolled (or will be enrolled) in a mining-related program at a Canadian post-secondary institution for the 2026-2027 academic year
- Demonstrate exceptional academic and personal qualities
