TCU Admission 2022/2023 Now is open | Apply Now, TCU admission requirements 2022. The Tanzania Universities Commission (TCU) would like to inform the public, Institutions of Higher Education and all Higher Education Stakeholders at home and abroad to be following the announcement of the results of the Form Six Examination, Commission has opened the admission application window for Undergraduate applicants starting today on 8/7/2022 instead of the scheduled 15/7/2022. This window will be open until 05/8/2022.

The Commission urges all applicants for admission to continue to receive accurate information via the TCU website www.tcu.go.tz, the websites of the accredited Undergraduate colleges, as well as various information provided and TCU through the media.

Similarly, the Commission calls on applicants for admissions and the general public attending the 17th Higher Education, Science and Technology Exhibition to be held at Mnazi Mmoja Stadium, Dar es Salaam where they will have the opportunity to meet face to face with the Colleges of Higher Education. Exhibitions will take place from July 18 to July 23, 2022.

Procedure for Submitting Application for Admission for the Academic Year 2022/2023

Applications for Admission to Undergraduate Degree include three groups of applicants:

Qualified Form Six qualifications;
Qualified Diploma (Ordinary Diploma), or Related qualifications and
Eligible for the Certificate of Open University of Tanzania.

To understand the qualifications for the three categories mentioned above, applicants are instructed to read the criteria indicated in the textbooks TCU (Undergraduate Admission Guidebooks for 2022/2023) available on Click hre to get TCU guide book for FORM SIX Holder and Cclick here to get TCU Guide Book for DIPLOMA holder

HOW TO APPLY FOR UNIVERSITIES 2022

a) Applications should be sent directly to the colleges where the applicant is applying she has selected and selected her favorite study programs. Guide to approved applications for admission and eligibility criteria (Undergraduate Admission Guidebooks for 2022/2023) available on the TCU website www.tcu.go.tz.
b) Specific instructions on how to submit applications are provided by colleges.

About DIT

The Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT) is the government Institution established in 1997 by Act of parliament.”the DIT Act No 6 of 1997″ to replace the Dar es Salaam Technical College which had a long history of technical training in Tanzania from 1957.

The Dar es Salaam Technical Institute was established aiming at providing vocational training in the country. The Institute later expanded its scope to offer technical secondary school courses and training for Technical Assistants before it was upgraded in 1962 to become the Dar es Salaam Technical College (DTC), the first formal technical training institution in the country.DTC was aimed to train technicians under the London City and Guilds Training Program.In order to enhance its contribution to the national capacity building in technical manpower, the College in 1964 introduced two-and-a-half-year Ordinary Technician Diploma (OTD).

HESLB was launched with a purpose of providing financial assistance to higher education Students. Want to register or login for HESLB? You will need to sigh up from the HESLB portal. Subsequent HESLB logins will be simple.

Loan application Window was opened in July 1 2021 and closed at 15 September 2021, Loan application process go through various step including:-

Ensure all Birth certificates for students who were born in foreign countries and Death Certificates for Tanzanian Parents who died in foreign countries are certified by respective Embassies located in the United Republic of Tanzania
Ensure that your loan application form is dully filled and signed before submission;
Applications must be completed with correct (and accurate) details;
Each applicant is advised to keep a copy of complete package of the application form submitted to HESLB for future reference (if required) and
All applicants must strictly observe the set application deadline.

TCU Round Four Application Window 2021/22

The Tanzania Colleges and Universities Commission (TCU) would like to inform the public and
Higher Education stakeholders in the country being enrolled in all three phases at the level of the First Degree in Higher Education Institutions in the country for the year of the 2021/2022 courses have been completed in accordance with the admission schedule approved by the Commission.

TCU OPENING OF THE FOURTH ROUND APPLICATION

Upon completion of all three phases of admission, the Commission has received applications to extend admission time from some applicants who missed admission due to various reasons. Also, the Commission has received applications for extension of admission from some Educational Institutions that still have a place in some programs studies for the year 2021/2022.

To provide opportunities for applicants who could not be admitted or could not apply for admission in the last three phases due to various reasons, The Commission has extended the admission period by filing Phase Four and end of admission starting today October 11th to October 15, 2021. The Commission urges all applicants who have not yet been admitted, to take advantage of the opportunity this well to get a chance to enroll.
