UDSM Call for Applications for Master’s Partial Scholarship (Research Fund Award)
The University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) in collaboration with Tanzania Agricultural Research Institute (TARI) and Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) invites applications for one Master’s partial scholarships at UDSM under the COSTECH-funded research project: “Promoting Adaptive Management for Agricultural Water to Enhance Community Resilience Under Climate Change in the Kagera River Sub-Basin”. The scholarship is linked to Objective 4 of the project, which focuses on enhancing community awareness regarding future climate conditions and agricultural water availability (adaptive management of agricultural water).
Scholarship support
The scholarship is tenable at UDSM for 9 months and covers research-related expenses (e.g., fieldworks) only. It does not cover tuition fees, university fees, accommodation or living stipend.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- A citizen of Tanzania, aged 35 or below;
- Admitted and registered in the Master’s Program in the areas of Economics, Agricultural Economics and Business, Applied Economics or related program at UDSM;
- Completed the coursework or in proposal development stage;
- Attained a minimum GPA of 3.5 in undergraduate degree (Economics; Economics and Statistics; Agricultural Economics, Natural Resource Economics and Business).
