Samuel Eto’o Declare for Presidential candidates at Cameroon 2021
Former Cameroon national team star and African football legend Samuel Eto’o (40), has announced his candidacy for the presidency of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT).
Eto’o made the announcement on Tuesday via his social media pages, Instagram and Facebook.
“I have decided to take this decision because I love Cameroon and love our football,” Samuel Eto’o said in a statement. “It’s time to rebuild our football,” he continued.
During his playing career Samuel Eto’o won various awards including the three-time African player of the year, winning a gold medal at the Olympics and at club level Samuel Eto’o won the UEFA Champions League. , Club World Cup and three Laliga trophies at the time at Barcelona.
Eto’o also won the Italian Premier League title with Inter Milan and other minor trophies.
