SAFCOL Silviculture Learnership Programme 2022 (NQF 3) for Unemployed South Africans
SAFCOL (South African Forestry Company SOC Limited) is the third largest state-owned forestry company in South Africa, under the Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) with operations in Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Kwa Zulu Natal, as well as in the northern parts of Mozambique.
SAFCOL’s mandate is; to conduct forestry business which includes timber harvesting, timber processing and related activities, both domestically and internationally.
Through our operations we employ about 5000 people through direct and indirect employment and by extension, are responsible for about 20 000 lives in communities adjacent our operations
Applications are invited from Unemployed South African (SA) Youth (18 — 35 years) who wish to pursue a Career in Forestry.
Successful applicants will be granted an opportunity to participate in a formal twelve (12) month Silviculture Learnership Programme (NQF 3). This will consist of accredited theoretical and practical training.

- Must be a South African Citizen
- Must be an Unemployed Youth between 18 to 35 Years
- Must have successfully passed matric (grade 12)
- Must have passion for forestry environment and be able to work outdoors
