Names called for Interview at Ngara District Council. Ngara District is one of the eight (08) districts of Kagera region, Tanzania. The people of Ngara are Wonderful and Predatory and speak Wonderful and Predatory. Before being named Ngara, it was known as Kibimba i.e. Pori. The main source of the name Ngara is a place that was special for meetings, which took place under large trees called iminyinya yingara.

Ngara District has an area of about 3,744 Km2, divided into four (4) divisions namely Nyamiaga, Kanazi, Rulenge and Murusagamba, 22 wards, 75 villages and 389 neighborhoods.
The residents of Ngara district are divided into two tribes which are the Hangaza and the Shubi. According to the 2012 census the district has a total of 63,293 households with a population of 320,056, of whom 152,443 (47%) are men and 167,613 (53%) are women. The population increase between the 2002 census and the 2012 census is 2.7 percent
