Big Stars got the victory on Thursday in the international friendly game which was played at 10 pm at Liti Stadium in Singida region in the Singida Big Day festival.
The victory is like Singida Big Stars, who have been promoted this season, have sent their Premier League greetings to their opponents in the championship which will start on August 15.
The only goal in the game was scored by Deus Kaseke in the 15th minute of the first half with a powerful shot after the Zanaco defenders failed to clear the cross ball by Amissi Tambwe.
The goal lasted for the first 45 minutes and sent Singida Big Stars to the break leading 1-0, while in the second half the guests Zanaco started the game strongly and looked for an early equalizer.
Their efforts have hit a rock following their attackers’ lack of focus in the end zone while Singida’s defenders led by Paschal Wawa played well and stopped the attacks.
The technical bench of Singida Big Stars has made a change of four players in the second half releasing Amissi Tambwe, Shafiq Batambuze, Joao Gomez and Peterson Cruz while their places were taken by Kelvin Sabatho, Nicolas Gyan, Yassin Mustapha and Oliveira.
The changes have brought life to the team and dominated the game in the last 10 minutes, creating scoring opportunities and playing attractive football, but the doors continued to be difficult and made the only goal scored by Deus Kaseke last for 90 minutes of the game.
The game is part of the preparations for the Singida team that has been promoted to the Premier League this season, hoping to play its first League game on August 16 at home against Tanzania Prisons.
