CAF confederation cup 2022/2023 Draw. TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup will be the 20th edition of Africa’s secondary club football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), under the current CAF Confederation Cup title after the merger of CAF Cup and African Cup Winners’ Cup.
Unlike the last 3 previous seasons, the final of this edition will be played in a two-legged format as the CAF decided at the executive committee meeting on July 3rd in Rabat after the conflict between Al Ahly and the CAF after choosing the Stade Mohammed V in Casablanca as a place for the 2022 CAF Champions League Final to be played which wasn’t a neutral venue as it was the home of the opponent Wydad Casablanca as Al Ahly allege.
