Nkinga Institute of Health Sciences (REG/HAS/013) – FBO, Nkinga Institute of Health Sciences is an institution organized under the Free Pentecostal Church Tanzania (FPCT). The institute is dedicated to developing dynamic and entrepreneurial health workers who will engage and realize their full potential and that of their community, their country and the world at large. The institute offers students a healthy balance between social and academic activities including lectures, discussions, research and presentations, social welfare, cultural and sporting activities.
Nkinga Institute of Health Sciences has the status of full accreditation by the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE). NIHS has three (3) established departments namely:-
- Nursing Department offering Basic Technician Certificate in Community Health, Pre-Service and In-Service Diploma in Nursing.
- Clinical Medicine Department offering Technician Certificate, Pre-Service Diploma in Clinical Medicine.
- Medical Laboratory offering Pre-Service and In-Service Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences.

Holders of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with four (4) Passes in non-religious Subjects including Chemistry, Biology and Physics/Engineering Sciences. A Pass in Basic Mathematics and English Language Is An Added Advantage
Ordinary Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences
Holders of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with At Least four (4) Passes in non-religious Subjects including Chemistry, Biology and Physics/Engineering Sciences. A Pass in Basic Mathematics and English Language Is An Added Advantage.
Ordinary Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery
Holders of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with at least four (4) passes in non-religious subjects including Chemistry, Biology and Physics/Engineering Sciences. A pass in Basic Mathematics and English Language is an added advantage.
Ordinary Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery (in-service)
Holders of Technician Certificate (NTA Level 5) in Nursing and at least a pass in Biology, Chemistry or Physics OR an Average of B+ in Nursing and Midwifery/Public Health Nurse with at least a pass in Biology, Chemistry or Physics and work experience of two (2) years. Necessary attachments: License to Practice and Letter of Permission from Employer
