On behalf of The Electrical Transmission and Distribution Construction and Maintenance Company Limited (ETDCO Limited), Public Service Recruitment Secretariat invites qualified Tanzanians to fill four (04) vacant posts mentioned below.
DRIVER II – 4 POSTS
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To ensure optimum vehicle availability for company business operations (performance
will be based on vehicle availability index);
- To record routes log book for keeping of vehicle fuel utilization history and ensure
passenger verification of route covered;
- To make follow up on repair and maintenance of vehicles at assigned garages by TEMESA ;
- To drive Company vehicles with required professionalism for maximum road safety and to ensure vehicle is not incurring damages to its parts through high diligence;
- To Maintain Vehicle cleanliness and observe staff safety;
- To ensure employees are transported to various work sites on time to maximize productivity;
- To perform any other work related duties as directed by the supervisor that is within the confiners of ethical standards of the company.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Holder of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE), Basic Driving certificate, a valid Driving License Class C or E, one year of experience in driving without causing any accident. Advance drivers grade two Training certificate and Motor Vehicle Mechanics Trade Test will be an added advantage.

- All applicants must be Citizens of Tanzania generally with an age not above 45 years of age except for those who are in Public Service;

9.An applicant must upload recent Passport Size Photo in the Recruitment Portal;
10. An applicant employed in the Public Service should route his application letter through his respective employer;
11. An applicant who is retired from the Public Service for whatever reason should not apply; An applicant should indicate three reputable referees with their reliable contacts;
12. Certificates from foreign examination bodies for Ordinary or Advanced level education should be verified by The National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA).
