DEPUTY PROJECT MANAGER for construction and commissioning phase
- Location: Onshore, Dar Es Salam, TANAZANIA – travel to Uganda
- Start date: ASAP for 2 years
Qualifications & Experience:
- Technical Diploma / Engineering
- Certificate in project management is a plus
- Good knowledge of English
- Good knowledge of French is a plus
- 5 years project coordination and management experience in an international context
- 7 years of Oil & Gas Industry experience in construction or operations environment.
- Knowledge on ISO 9001 – Knowledge on ISO 17065 is a plus
Purpose:
To ensure that all in-field activities are in accordance with HSE regulations, policies, standards and best practices, thereby assuring the safety of all personnel, Company assets and the environment.
To ensure that installation and commissioning phases of the project are completed in line with the requirements of the project certification scheme.
Main Roles and Responsibilities:
Technical :
- Project management on the Tanzania and Uganda perimeters
- Managing the drafting of verification scheme in connection with the INSTALLATION certification scheme
- Managing the drafting of verification scheme in connection with the COMMISSIONING certification scheme in collaboration with project certification team in France
- Coordination of on-site inspections on the Tanzania and Uganda perimeters including logistic topics – That means than Deputy Project Manager has the authority to prioritize Client inspections and authority to local coordinators
- Can perform inspection by himself is needed
- Monitor the activities carried out in relation to the expectations detailed in the vertification schemes
- Ensures the distribution of reports within the allotted deadlines (5 days), including their compliance check
- Traces all actions carried out in Tanzania and Uganda and reports them to France and/or Client
- Punch List and NCR management
