The Higher Education Student Loans Board (HESLB) today Saturday (September 28, 2024) has started announcing the list of qualified students who have been assigned loans for the academic year 2024/2025. This first phase includes first-year students assigned to undergraduate credits, the School of Law in Practice and the Master’s Degree.
Executive Director of HESLB Dr. Bill Kiwia has said that all students who applied for loans for the year 2024/2025 can get detailed information about their loans through the accounts they used to apply for loans known as ‘SIPA’ – Student’s Individual Permanent Account.

- Check Loan Status: After logging in, click on the ‘Loan Status’ section to see the status of your application. Here you will be able to see if you have successfully obtained a loan and the allocated amount.
- Track Payment Schedule: If you are successful, you will see the payment schedule for each semester along with the amount of money to be disbursed.
- Appeal: If you are unsuccessful, you can file an appeal with HESLB if you have valid reasons to do so.
