Matokeo ya kidato cha pili, darasa la nne 2024 haya hapa, The Tanzania Examinations Council (NECTA) has announced the results of the fourth and second -grade national testing, statistics showing in fourth grade girls have achieved more than boys. In the second form the boys are the leading.
The results were announced today on January 4, 2025 by the Council’s Executive Secretary, Dr Said Mohamed, in front of reporters.
Announcing the results of the fourth grade, Dr Mohamed said 1,320,227 students out of 1,530,805 with 86.24 percent, had successfully continued in fifth grade by 2025 by securing grades A, B, C and D.
He said the findings were different from 2023 whose graduates were 1,287,934 equivalent to 83.3.4 percent, thus having a 2.9 percent increase in students who had the opportunity to continue in fifth grade compared to 2023.
As a result, Dr Mohamed said among the students who passed the fifth grade, the girls are 699,901 equivalent to 87.75 percent and the boys are 620,326 equal to 84.61.
In the second form, he said 680,574 students out of 796,825 with results equal to 85.41 percent have been able to continue in form three who have received grade 1, 2,3 and 4 while boys lead.
He said this was different from 2023 where the graduates were 592,741 equivalent to 85 percent and made the performance increase by 0.1 percent.
As a result, he said of the 680,574 students who had passed the third form, the girls were 367,457 and the boys were 313,117.
