The Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology has officially announced teacher training admission opportunities for 2025 in both Certificate and Diploma programs in Primary Education. These programs aim to prepare competent teachers in Early Childhood, Primary Education, Special Needs Education, as well as specialized fields in Science and Mathematics.
Available Programs
The training programs will be offered in:

Certificate in Early Childhood and Primary Education (2 years)

Diploma in Primary Education specializing in Science and Mathematics (3 years)

Certificate in Special Needs Education (2 years)

Diploma in Special Needs Education specializing in Science and Mathematics (3 years)
Admission Requirements
1. Certificate in Early Childhood and Primary Education (2 Years)
Applicants must:
-
Have completed Form Six with a Division I–III pass.

Have at least two (2) Principal Passes.
-
Candidates who studied Economics, Commerce, or Book Keeping are encouraged to apply.
Graduates of Certificate in Primary Education can also apply for further studies in teacher training depending on their performance in national exams.
2. Diploma in Primary Education – Special Needs, Science, and Mathematics (3 Years)
Applicants must:

Have completed Form Four with a Division I–III pass.

Have at least a grade “C” in three subjects, two of which must be from:

Basic Mathematics

Biology
-
Chemistry
-
Physics
-
Information and Computer Studies
-
Computer Science
