Beginning 8 January with first-round qualifying matches, and closing with the men’s singles final at Rod Laver Arena on 28 January, there is an incredible offering for fans at the year’s first Grand Slam event.
The four-day qualifying competition reaches a crescendo on Thursday 11 January, when players contest final-round qualifying matches hoping to seal a coveted spot in the AO 2024 main draw.
Also on 8-11 January are practice matches between big names, which the public can enter Rod Laver Arena and watch from 12-4pm each day.
Beginning Tuesday 9 January are exhibition matches, running until Friday 12 January. These will feature stars of the game taking part to raise money for causes close to their hearts.

Saturday 13 January is when Melbourne Park throws open its gates for young fans on Kids Tennis Day – anchored by the Arena Spectacular and also featuring plenty of tennis-filled fun at the AO Ballpark and around the precinct.
Then, Australian Open main-draw action kicks off on Sunday 14 January – the first Sunday start in the tournament’s storied history.
