Wakuu wa mikoa wapya Tanzania 2022. The President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Samia Suluhu Hassan has made the appointment of 09 new Regional commissioner, moving the work centers of 07 Regional Heads and 10 others to remain in their centers as follows:

1. Nurdin Hassan Babu – He has been appointed as Kilimanjaro Regional Chief. He was the Head of Longido District in Arusha region.
2. Fatma Abubakar Mwasa – She has been appointed as the Head of Morogoro Region.
3. Halima Omari Dendego – She has been appointed as the Regional Head of Iringa.
4. Dr. Raphael Masunga Chegeni – He has been appointed as the Head of Mara Region.
5. Peter Joseph Serukamba – He has been appointed as the Regional Head of Singida.
6. Colonel Ahmed Abbas Ahmed – He has been appointed as the Head of Mtwara Region. He was the Head of Kibiti District in the Coast Region.
7. Colonel Laban Elias Thomas – He has been appointed as the Head of Ruvuma Region. He was the Head of Nyasa District in Ruvuma region.
8. Albert John Chalamila – He has been appointed as the Head of Kagera Region
9. Dr. Yahaya Esmail Nawanda – He has been appointed as the Head of Simiyu Region. He was the Head of Tabora District in Tabora region.

TRANSFERRED WORK CENTERS:

1. Anthony John Mtaka – He has been transferred to become the Regional Head of Njombe. He was the Regional Head of Dodoma.
2. Queen Cuthbert Sendiga – He has been transferred to be the Regional Head of Rukwa. He was the Regional Head of Iringa.
3. Minister Minister Kindamba – He has been transferred to become the Regional Head of Songwe. He was the Regional Head of Njombe.
4. Martin Reuben Shigella – He has been transferred to the Regional Head of Geita. He was the Head of Morogoro Region.
5. Omary Tebweta Mgumba – He has been transferred to be the Regional Head of Tanga. He was the Regional Head of Songwe.
6. Adam Kigoma Malima – He has been transferred to Mwanza Regional Head. He was the Head of Tanga Region.
7. Rosemary Staki Senyamule – He has been transferred to Dodoma Regional Head. He was the Regional Head of Geita.

WHO CONTINUES WITH JOB CENTERS:

• Amos Gabriel Makalla – He continues to be the Regional Head of Dar es Salaam
• John Vianney Mongella – He continues to be the Head of the Arusha Region.
• Mwanamvua Hoza Mrindoko – He continues to be the Regional Head of Katavi.
• Charles Makongoro Nyerere – He continues to be the Governor of Manyara Region.
• Zainab Rajab Telack – He continues to be the Head of Lindi Region.
• Juma Zuberi Homera – He continues to be the Head of Mbeya Region.
• Thobias Emir Andengenye – He continues to be the Head of the Kigoma Region.
• Sophia Edward Mjema – He continues to be the Head of Shinyanga Region.
• Ambassador Batilda Salha Burian – He continues to be the Head of Tabora Region.
• Abubakar Mussa Kunenge – He continues to be the Governor of the Coast Region.

The swearing-in will take place at Ikulu Chamwino, Dodoma on August 1, 2022.
